Alan Gundy

Alan Gundy (Beau Bebeau) is a computer programmer who auditions for the role of “new Alan” for Frank in “Stan & Frank” Episode 201: Finding Alan. He thinks it is a job interview for a computer programmer position that he was sent to by his job recruiter. He is clearly not qualified nor experienced in filmmaking but Frank gives him a chance since his actual name is Alan. He asks him who his favorite director is and Alan Gundy replies: “Stanley Scorcese.” Frank asks whether or not he means Stanley Kubrick or Martin Scorcese.  He replies “Martin Kubrick” and Frank gives up and tells him he has failed the audition. Alan makes a plea to be his intern but Frank rejects the offer pointing out that he needs a film partner more than an intern but leaves open the possibility of hiring one in the future. Alan offers to give Frank his résumé but is soundly rejected.
